Two experts from the Malaysian Nuclear Agency, Mr. Amry Amin Abas, and Dr. Nurul A’in Ahmad Latif, represented Malaysia at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Training Workshop on Non-Destructive Examination and Monitoring for Research Reactors, held from November 4-8, 2024, in Vienna. They shared valuable insights on NDT methods and ISO 9712 personnel certification.

The workshop, featuring 26 participants worldwide, included hands-on sessions on Ultrasonic Testing, Visual Testing, and Eddy Current Arrays at the TRIGA Wien Research Reactor, Austria. It wrapped up with discussions on the future of NDT in research reactors.
