HONOLULU, HAWAII – On May 13, 2026, the Malaysian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (MSNT) participated in the Asia-Pacific Federation for Non-Destructive Testing (APFNDT) General Assembly (GA) Meeting. The hybrid meeting was held at the Sea Pearl Suite, Hilton Hawaiian Village, in conjunction with the ongoing APCNDT 2026 conference.

MSNT was represented by its President, Dr. Ilham Mukriz Zainal Abidin, who attended as the official Voting Member for Malaysia. His presence at the GA underscores MSNT’s active role in the governance and collaborative efforts of the regional federation, currently led by President Takamasa Ogata.

The General Assembly is a critical platform for member societies to review administrative reports, update membership status, and coordinate strategic activities.
