We are excited to announce the upcoming 7th Symposium on Damage Mechanics of Materials and Structures (DMMS), organized by the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Under the esteemed chairmanship of Dr. Salvinder Singh Karam Singh, this symposium will bring together experts and researchers worldwide to explore the latest advancements in failure analysis and structural integrity.

Mark your calendars for September 19-20, 2023, as we gather at the prestigious Bangi Resort Hotel in Selangor for this exceptional event.

We are honored to have the Malaysian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (MSNT) Vice President, Mr. Wan Abdullah Wan Hamat, as one of the distinguished speakers at the symposium. His valuable insights and expertise will contribute to the discussions on damage mechanics and the future of materials and structural engineering. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain knowledge from renowned professionals.

Join us as we delve into a wide range of topics directly relevant to NDT practitioners, including fatigue damage, crack initiation and propagation, life prediction techniques, computational fracture mechanics, dynamic fracture, damage mechanics and assessment, non-destructive testing, concrete failure assessment, failure in soil structures, structural durability and reliability, structural health monitoring, construction damage recovery, and more.

This symposium provides a unique platform for NDT practitioners to exchange knowledge, expand their professional network, and stay at the forefront of damage mechanics. Submit your abstract by June 30, 2023, for a chance to present your research to a distinguished audience. Abstract acceptance notifications will be sent by July 15, 2023, giving you ample time for preparation.
