Malaysian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (MSNT) had the privilege of attending the Knock the Door (KTD) meeting organized by the Department of Skills Development (JPK) in Cyberjaya on 23rd May 2023. Our representative, Dr. Khazali Haji Mohd Zin, joined President Dr. Ilham Mukriz Zainal Abidin , Treasurer Mr. Amry Amin Abas, and Board Member Dr. Ab. Razak Hamzah at this remarkable event. Together, we explored innovative ways to promote TVET NDT skills across local and international industries and forge strategic partnerships. The program aimed to foster collaboration between JPK and MSNT, with a focus on enhancing the implementation of the Malaysian Skills Certification System (SPKM) through MSNT as their Industry Lead Body (ILB). We also had fruitful discussions on potential alliances with key players in the aerospace industry, PETRONAS, and local enforcement agencies like Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia, DOSH, CIDB Malaysia, and Department of Atomic Energy.
