The first Radiographic Testing – Digital (RT-D) Level II qualification examination in Malaysia conducted in accordance with ISO 9712 was successfully held on 28th and 29th of September 2020 at the Malaysian Nuclear Agency. 7 candidates took part in the grueling 6 hours examination after completing a two weeks RT-D Level II training course covering the application of Computed Radiography (CR) and Digital Detector Array (DDA) for pre and in-service industrial sector. Upon passing the examination and fulfilling the experience requirement, successful candidates are eligible to apply for Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) ISO 9712 RT-D Level II certificate by Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK). Malaysian Nuclear Agency is currently the only JPK accredited centre for ISO 9712 RT-D training and examination in Malaysia.
