HONOLULU, HAWAII – On Thursday, May 14, 2026, the Malaysian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (MSNT) marked a prominent presence at the 17th Asia-Pacific Conference on Non-Destructive Testing (APCNDT). MSNT President Dr. Ilham Mukriz was a featured speaker during the APFNDT Session I, held at the Breakout C – South Pacific room in the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
Dr. Ilham’s presentation, “MSNT’s Journey of Growth, Resilience and Strategic Advancement in the NDT Community,” showcased the evolution of NDT practices in Malaysia. He highlighted the society’s commitment to advancing technical competencies and fostering a resilient NDT ecosystem capable of meeting modern industrial challenges through strategic advancements.
The session provided a platform to discuss regional roadmaps and the integration of intelligent technologies in NDT. Dr. Ilham also took the opportunity to invite the international community to Malaysia’s upcoming landmark events:
- The 8th Malaysia International NDT Conference and Exhibition (MINDTCE): Set for November 17–18, 2026, at the Sunway Resort Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
- The 18th APCNDT 2029: Which will be hosted by MSNT in Kuala Lumpur.
Participation in these APFNDT sessions underscores MSNT’s leadership role in the Asia-Pacific region and its dedication to elevating Malaysian NDT professionals on the global stage.
