The Malaysian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (MSNT) expanded its regional engagement by participating in the inaugural 2026 Formosa Workshop on Non-Destructive Testing (FWNDT 2026) on 16 January 2026. Organized by the Society for Nondestructive Testing & Certification of Taiwan (SNTCT), the workshop was held in a hybrid format at the National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering (NCREE) in Taipei, bringing together experts from across the Asia-Pacific region to discuss advancements in NDT and Structural Health Monitoring.
Representing Malaysia, Dr. Khairul Anuar delivered an invited lecture titled “The Radiographic Testing – Digital (RT-D): Bridging the Gap in Industrial Radiography”. His presentation addressed the critical technological transition from conventional to digital radiography, offering insights into bridging the technical gaps currently faced by the industry. During the session, Dr. Khairul also actively promoted the upcoming 8th Malaysia International NDT Conference and Exhibition (MINDTCE), inviting international delegates to join the premier event scheduled for November 2026 in Kuala Lumpur.
